Join for a live podcast. We see the world through names and labels, but what lives beneath the surface of our words? Sensation is the language of the body. The body—inseparable from the mind—connects us to our deepest self. It connects us to where we are and to who we are with. Interoception, the awareness of one’s inner state, is instrumental in regulating the nervous system. Presence, that thing we’re all after, is a nervous system state. How do we begin to learn this twilight language?
